Effective and responsive literacy instruction begins with reliable assessment data. The appropriate literacy assessment(s) will guide teacher instruction, monitor student progress, and measure the effectiveness of instruction. You are invited to join us for a FREE workshop at CESA 5 to reflect on your district’s strategic assessment system for literacy. Districts will also consider the Wisconsin Reading Readiness requirement and how their assessment data meets these criteria.
On this day, teams will have the opportunity to hear virtual presentations from vendors as they consider what assessment data is essential to be gathered, how it fits into the greater assessment and instructional system, and how this data can be accessed and used for planning responsive literacy instruction.
Participants are able to attend in person at CESA 5 or virtually. Virtual attendees will receive a Zoom link for the day. Please register for either in-person or virtual attendance.
You can access the tentative schedule here. The final schedule will be provided prior to the event.
