AGENDA: 8:30am-11:30am, details TBA

approximately 1 week in advance

In this workshop participants will learn, train and think through how to apply mindfulness and meditation to their unique performance and well-being goals.

Participants will explore how to use meditation practices to build upon their knowledge of traditional Social Emotional Learning and self-care. Participants will leave with a plan on how to continue to apply meditation to impact the performance and wellbeing of themselves and those around them such as fellow educators, students, families and the community.

In this session on Meditation Training participants will:

  • Understand the fundamentals of working with the mind and body for performance and well-being

  • Train for qualities of mind that will be most supportive for greater performance, such as greater confidence, ability to perform under pressure, find joy in the journey, ability to manage expectations, resilience and motivation.

  • Plan for implementing in participants unique context to address needs such as meditation training to be a lever for equality and to support student and staff resilience.
