 Section 1: CESA 6 Effectiveness Project: Initial Overview

 This introductory session is appropriate for personnel from districts that have committed to the project or are interested in learning more about the project.

 Audience: Superintendents, Principals, Teacher Leaders (classroom teachers and educational specialists), Board Members, Post-secondary representatives, CESA representatives, others.

 Topics:

·        History, rationale,  legislative requirements, legal issues and design process of the project

·        Overview of three evaluation systems: Teacher Evaluation, Educational Specialist Evaluation, School Administrator Evaluation

·        Overview of Effectiveness Project System components, including a demonstration of the OASYS (Observation and Appraisal Management System)      web-based tool that supports the implementation of all three systems.

·        Project costs, roles, responsibilities, and training details

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
