Presenters: Tere Masiarchin and Robin Rivas

Description: Under ESSA and WI DPI requirements, every district must have an EL Plan identifying your Language Instruction Educational Program (LIEP) and describe how your LIEP will be implemented to meet the needs of your English Learners. If your district needs to create or update your District EL Plan, this workshop is for you. Join Robin and Tere for a guided 2-day workshop series in which participants will complete their district EL Plan. Robin and Tere have over 50 years of combined EL leadership experience in both rural and urban educational settings. Understanding both the legal requirements and best practices for educating ELs, Robin and Tere will lead you in creating the best EL plan for your individual district.

District teams are strongly encouraged to attend.
