Presenters: Tere Masiarchin & Robin Rivas

Description: With the new ESSA accountability, WI DPI EL Policy Handbook requirements, and the growing number of culturally and linguistically diverse students in schools, it is now more important than ever to understand how to effectively meet the academic, cultural, social, and emotional needs of multi-lingual learners. During our workshop, administrators and school leaders will learn how to meet the Title III requirements of family engagement, language instruction educational programs, and education of English Learners. Robin and Tere have over 50 years of combined leadership experience in the field of EL and will share what they know with you in order for you to build the most effective EL program possible in your building/district. This workshop will include the EL 101: What Admin Need to Know Handbook created by Robin and Tere.

Teams are strongly encouraged to attend.
