ASHA CEU Presentation: Confidentiality and Ethical Practice by Attorney Mary S. Gerbig

There is a new requirement for SLPs who hold the state DSPS License (formerly the WI Dept. of Regulatory Licensure). By January 2013, SLPs and Audiologists must have two hours of Continuing Education in the area of Ethics. We are pleased to respond to this need by providing one CEU hour at the 10th Annual CESA 5 Speech-Language Institute on March 4-6, 2012 at the Kalahari Resort in WI Dells.

If order to obtain the one CEU hour, you must attend a one-hour presentation at the conference by Attorney Mary S. Gerbig. The presentation will take place on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the main session hall at the Kalahari (right after Alexandra Dunn’s session concludes). Please Note: This will be taking place during the Alumni Networking Reception which goes from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. (also in the main session hall).

Please register for this session by Friday, Feb. 17th in order to ensure we can hold this session. Registration is online at http://login.myquickreg.com/event/event.cfm?eventid=3570. If you have any registration questions, please contact Andrea Schneiter at 608-742-8814, Ext. 293 or schneitera@cesa5.org.
