CESA 5 Presents a Workshop on . . .Writing a Student ATOD Mini-Grant

Location: CESA 5 Office, 626 E. Slifer St., Portage

Description: That’s Right!  Student groups can receive up to $1,000 for student-led projects that promote healthy choices for their fellow students.  Successful grants are written by students for students that have a link with reducing alcohol and other drug abuse or other risk behaviors.  Any public student class or organized student group can submit an application.  $1,000 Student Mini-Grant Applications are due to CESA 5 by October 7, 2011.  Sorry, we cannot accept late applications!

Fee: NO REGISTRATION FEE.  This workshop is your students’ chance to complete most of the application.

Please Remember:  Students need to bring their lunch.  Plan to attend as a team: Limit to 1 adult and up to 4 students per application.  ADVANCE registration is REQUIRED.   Registration deadline is Sept. 21, 2011 (Confirmation e-mails will be sent before the workshop start date).

Secondary Transition GoalsPercent of youth aged 16 and older whose IEP includes coordinated, measureable annual goals and transition services
Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
