Beginning in the 2017-18 school year, legislation requires every school board to provide ACP services to all pupils enrolled in grades 6 to 12. To prepare for the statewide implementation of ACP, CESA 5 is offering partnering districts ACP process training and implementation support.  This project is intended to mirror DPI’s ACP pilot, while giving districts flexibility in their level of commitment.

Expectations:

  1. Attend three one-day workshops.  A second, optional date will be created for all three meetings pending level of participation.

    1. Monday, November 23rd. 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. CESA 5, Portage, WI.

    2. Tuesday, January 12th. 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. @ Kalahari Resort Convention Center Portia/Wisteria Rooms

    3. Thursday, April 21st. 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. @ The Great Wolf - Black Wolf Room 

  2. Bring a team

    1. Highly Recommended:  Building level administrator from high school and middle school, middle and high school counselor, middle and/or high school instructor

    2. Others to Consider: District level administrator, middle and/or high school CTE instructor, core instructor, special education instructor, ENCORE instructor

  3. Participate in discussions

 

Cost:

No Cost to all Career Technical Education/Education for Employment Council members

No Cost to all School Improvement Services members

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
