CANCELLED - WI Educator Effectiveness System: Teachscape Focus for Superintendents

Superintendents who want to become familiar with Teachscape Focus are invited to attend this session. This one day training will give an overview of the Teachscape Focus certification training for observers. Participants will receive video-rich training in the domains of the Framework for Teaching (Danielson), compare their scoring to master-scored videos of classroom teaching at all levels and receive expert feedback on scoring.

This training is for superintendents who do not evaluate teachers and are not required to pass the proficiency assessment but want to understand the process of assigning teacher practice scores.

Teachscape Focus is a complete system for building a common language and shared understanding of teaching effectiveness among observers and teachers based on the Framework for Teaching (Danielson). Teachscape Focus helps increase confidence in the evaluation process. It also builds a structure for the ongoing conversations that are part of a continuous improvement process.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
