An Introduction to the Drop-Out Early Warning System (DEWS)

Purpose:

The Dropout Early Warning System (DEWS) is a data tool that can be used to predict the risk of a 7th - 9th grade student not graduating from high school in four years.  This half-day session will provide an opportunity to try out the DEWS and related dashboards within the WISEDash data system, with a specific focus on students with disabilities.  Participants should have a WAMS ID and permission to access data for the middle school and/or high school students in their districts, and a laptop computer.  Other early warning systems will also be discussed.

-CANCELLATION POLICY- Unless otherwise noted, if we receive your cancellation at least 48 hours before the program begins, you will qualify for a full refund. If you do not show up or cancel prior to the 48 hour time frame, you are subject to a $25.00 late cancellation fee. -DISCLAIMERS- CESA 9 will make every effort to accommodate basic dietary restrictions with advance notice.
