This workshop will provide you with an opportunity to network with 4K and K teachers. You will be provided time to analyze your PALS data and reports, discuss early literacy teaching strategies and develop instructional plans.
Workshop content will focus upon:
- Interpretation strategies for all PALS reports
- Guided practice time to analyze your own data
- Differentiated instructional planning for each student
- Creation of a progress monitoring plan with PALS Quick Checks
- Overview of PALS instructional resources
Other benefits of this workshop include:
- Networking time with your teaching colleagues and teachers from other schools/districts regarding data analysis practices and instructional planning
- Opportunity to ask questions and learn together in a collaborative environment
Please note: In order to benefit from this workshop, all classroom data from the fall PALS assessment needs to be entered into the online system.
What to bring:
- Laptop computer
- Hard copy of fall PALS data
- Other assessment information used to guide your instruction

A minimum of 15 people are required to hold the workshop.
Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund.
Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
