The value of PALS data is to use it to guide your instruction! In this workshop you will be provided time to analyze your PALS data and reports and create instructional plans.

 Workshop content will focus upon:

  • Orientation and review of all of the PALS reports
  • Interpretation strategies for each report
  • Guided practice time to analyze your own data
  • Differentiated instructional planning for each student
  • Identification of intervention groups
  • Creation of progress monitoring plan with PALS Quick Checks
  • Overview of PALS instructional resources

Other benefits of this workshop include:

  • Networking time with your teaching colleagues and teachers from other schools/districts regarding data analysis practices and instructional planning
  • Opportunity to ask questions and learn together in a collaborative environment

Please note: In order to benefit fully from this workshop, all classroom data from the PALS assessment should be entered into the PALS online system.

  • Laptop computer
  • Hard copy of PALS data
  • Other assessment data used to guide your instruction

A minimum of 15 people are required to hold the workshop.

 

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
