Cancelled-WISExplore 2 Day Data Retreat

Purpose

WISEdash and other state data tools offer new opportunities to enhance data inquiry for educators. Bring your school improvement team to participate in this two-day workshop using the new WISExplore inquiry process with state data indicators for your school. This active retreat will enhance your leadership team’s skills with “WISE” data tools as they inform your school’s improvement
direction.

Participate in a guided process to …

• use state and local data tools and the WISExplore process
• explore and analyze achievement, growth, attendance, gaps, post-secondary and other state-available data to the student detail level
• determine data questions, document data findings, and formulate data inferences inform the school improvement process, with connections to annual goals, AMOs, SLO focus areas and strategic action plans

Team Requirements:

• School Leadership Teams (must include at least one administrator)
• WISEdash and MDAT access to student detail analyst
• 2 Laptop computers (internet ready) for each team with extension cords/power strips (if needed) iPads do not work well
• Paper copies of the most recent School/District Report Card and Value Added Reports (found in SAFE)
• Other local data (MAP, etc)

Registration Fees:

$100.00 per participant for 2014-15 CESA 8 Curriculum Instruction & Assessment member districts. $200.00 per participant for all other districts

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met. CESA 8 makes every effort to accommodate basic dietary restrictions with advance notice, but please plan accordingly.
