We are excited to introduce the CESA 8 Instructional Coaching Certification course. This 3 session course will help educators and administrators develop skills to lead through coaching models in their school district. Effective coaches build positive, trusting, relationships with staff in order to foster growth in professional practice. Training coaches and sourcing their efforts leads to proven wide range fidelity of school change.

• Facilitating PLCs
Requirements:
• Practice Coaching with a colleague
• Develop action plan for coaching in district
Audience: Educators, Administrators

Jim Knight, Director of the Kansas Coaching Project
Information: You must attend all three dates for certification and credit.
Participants not interested in certification or credit may just attend the presentation on May 8th with Jim Knight.
Cost: $225.00 per participant (for all three dates) for Curriculum Instruction and Assessment member school districts for the workshop. $450.00 per participant for all other school districts. Registration fee includes Jim Knight’s book, “Instructional Coaching: A Partnership Approach to Improving Instruction."
$125.00 for May 8, 2014 only with Jim Knight for Curriculum Instruction and Assessment member school districts. $250.00 for all other school districts. Registration fee includes Jim Knight’s book, “Instructional Coaching: A Partnership Approach to Improving Instruction.”
Credit: In addition to the workshop fee $110.00 payable to Viterbo first day of class for anyone wishing to take this for 1 graduate credit.
