·       How to avoid power struggles, which can hinder limit setting.

·       The importance of setting limits that are clear and enforceable.

·       Ways to improve your skills as an active listener.

·       Limit setting techniques that work and four that don’t work.

·       How your nonverbal communication impacts the limits you set.

·       Seven common myths and realities about limit setting.

This one-day workshop will review the essential components of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® including Personal Safety Techniques and Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention. Participants will receive a CPI Blue Card recognizing their participation and certification in the course.
