One of the best elementary STEM education programs available is Engineering is Elementary, a program designed at the Museum of Science in Boston (www.eie.org).  Other organizations around the state offer trainings on this program, but not Train-the-Trainer workshops led directly by the trainers from the Museum of Science.  Join us at this session to have a couple of your elementary teachers trained, so that they can support the rest of your staff in implementing this program that strongly supports the new Next Generation Science Standards.  While this workshop will support new trainers in understanding and using any of the 20 units, we will specifically be focusing on an insect unit and a magnetism unit.

*Note: it would normally cost thousands to send a teacher to one of these sessions in Boston.  We're bringing their trainers here!

Cost: $400; includes teacher guide.
