#966 Title I/ESEA Updates Informational Meeting

Please set aside Monday, May 10 for an important informational meeting about Title I/ ESEA Updates and Changes. Plan to attend this meeting at CESA 5 in Portage if you prepare your districts ESEA Consolidated Application or want to learn about some important changes related to Title I funding. Topics include:
Important deadlines for ESEA reporting
Changes in the 2010-11 consolidated application
Updates on Title I Schoolwide/IDEA funding options
NEW federal requirements for PERSISTENTLY LOW-PERFORMING SCHOOLS
Discussion about ESEA reauthorization and "A Blueprint for Reform"

The Meeting will begin at 10 AM; we will break for lunch, and then people may have worktime so bring your passwords and laptops. We will have a DPI consultant on hand via phone for assistance as needed.

If you are a new ESEA coordinator and this is your first time in preparing the ESEA Consolidated Application, please email Lisa Arneson at arnesonl@cesa5.k12.wi.us and she will provide you with additional support and resources. Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
