As we all know, special education reaches out in many different directions and it is a very vast topic to grasp. During our special education leadership meetings we try to address as many topics as we can, however, we don’t always make time to discuss issues relating to the supervisory role of special education, i.e., budgets, special education funding, maintenance of effort, staff evaluations, etc. As a result, we have scheduled additional networking meetings to address topics from a special education supervisory and administrative perspective. These networking sessions have proved to be beneficial for our district principals and so we would like to put these in place for our special education directors as well. If you feel that your role falls under the aforementioned description, please feel free to register and join us.
