Participants will learn how to use video to capture teaching practices. Districts participating in the 2013-14 PRM grant will be provided with SWIVL devices and ipads to use as recording devices for capturing video in the classroom. Google docs will be used to collect evidence aligned to either the Stronge framework or the Danielson Framework for Teaching. The purpose of using video is to help teachers reflect in their practice and coach others in reflecting in their practice. In addition, teachers will learn how to use EduVision to store video so that it may be provided as evidence or an artifact in their Educator Effectiveness Plan (EEP). This training is targeted toward EE coaches. EE coaches will be asked to provide evidence of video reflection as a grant requirement.
