IEP Process & Product Training (for DFELs and public)

Training Time:  9am - 2pm (public), 9am - 3pm (DFELs)

Parents, family members, teachers, and others who work with students  who have disabilities.

Description:
The IEP Process & Product training will give participants the nuts and bolts of Individual Education Programs.  Participants will learn about the referral process, timelines, evaluation, and determination of disability and services. That's the process part.  The second part of this presentation will give participants a good understanding of how an IEP is developed and what is written into it.  Participants will learn how to navigate the special eduation maze and receive parent-friendly resources.
