WI Special Education Mediation System's Dispute Resolution Options

It is important for parents and school staff to resolve any issues right away, before these issues fester and negatively impact their relationship.

Learn how the Wisconsin Special Education Mediation System can help with early dispute resolution. Workshop includes information about free WSEMS services for mediation, facilitated IEPs, and faciliated resolution meetings; when to use each option; how to make a request; who are the mediators and facilitators as well as related federal and state laws; and more.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee.
