Special Education Procedural Compliance Self Assessment and Indicator 13 ITV Presentations April 26 or May 13, 2010

CESA 6 Distance Education Room, Oshkosh 9:00AM - 3:00PM (Registration 8:30)

The purpose of this training is to provide participants with examples of compliance and effective practice standards to meet Indicator 13 requirements. If your district is on the Procedural Compliance Self Assessment Cycle for 2010-11 school year, this is a required training for your district (if you haven’t already attended) and you are asked to attend for the full day. If your district is not on the Self-Assessment Cycle you are welcome to attend space permitting.

Individuals participating in this training are asked to bring IEPs to review in the afternoon using the Indicator 13 Checklist. A DPI consultant will be available via ITV to answer questions along with an onsite facilitator.

Trainings will be held at various locations throughout the State. CESA 6 is hosting the two dates listed above. These trainings are sponsored by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), the Wisconsin Statewide Transition Initiative (WSTI) Project, State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) Transition Hub and the Regional Service Network (RSN) Project.
