December 11th : Coaches/Administrators Training

Participants will network with other coaches to learn and discuss the perceived and actual roles of PBIS coaching, review the differences between internal and external coaching roles, become acquainted with PBIS assessments tools, and understand the foundation pieces of the Tier I PBIS framework as well as how to lead their building team through Tier I Team Training.  Coaches will learn how to identify strengths and priorities based on their building self assessment surveys, and how to create an action plan to be utilized by their building PBIS teams in training and beyond.  

The specific content of this training will focus on:

  • Define the coashes roles, functions, outcomes, and competencies
  • Understand system assessments
  • Gain an understanding of team roles and functions
  • Understand the importance and key features of Tier I training components.

Target Audience:
Internal Coaches at the universal level, external coaches, building principals. Team members should NOT attend this session.

Preparation:
Participants should bring district-wide data such as:

  • Discipline, achievement and attendance data
  • School Improvement Plan
  • District or building vision or mission statement
  • Building expectation material (if they exist such as from TRIBES, CHAMPS, Responsive Classroom, etc)

 

Participants MUST bring a laptop of similar device with USB drive

Registration Fees:
$400 per team for this day (1-8 participants per district) (team should consist of 4-8 participants)

December 7, 2013 (registrations cancelled after deadline will NOT be refunded)

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:

If a workshop has been canceled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. Please make sure all your contact information is correct on myQuickReg.com
