The Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model (WCSCM) is a coordinated system of programs, activities, and learning experiences that prepare all students for life after high school. The program is implemented BY ALL and provides opportunities FOR ALL students to develop to their fullest socially, academically, and in their career planning.
This will be a unique LEVEL III session…as we have Trish Hatch, Ph.D. joining us to provide the instruction for Day 1 and 2 on “Using Data to Effect Change and Move Your Program Forward”! The four day seminar will focus on the evaluation of your comprehensive school counseling program.
Participants will:
• Become experienced in organizing and analyzing student data,
• Analyze data, select an issue and determine related program goals and objectives,
• Identify and select strategies to achieve goals and objectives,
• Develop a report to communicate the comprehensive school counseling programs impact,
• Develop an accountability action plan handbook,
• Conduct a comprehensive school counseling program audit,
• Strategize a process to evaluate school counselors, and
• Confirm the impact of the school counseling program on key indicators of student success using a six-step accountability process (MEASURE)!

Time: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm each day
Day 1 – Thursday, June 24, 2010 (at Madison Area Technical College)
Day 2 – Friday, June 25, 2010 (at Madison Area Technical College)
Day 3 – Tuesday, October 5, 2010 (at CESA 5, Portage)
Day 4 – Tuesday, November 9, 2010 (at CESA 5, Portage)
