 CESA 5 is recruiting Grade 8-12 math teachers for work with the College and Career Readiness Standards.  Selected teachers will develop the curriculum (assessments & skills practice) aligned to the
College and Career Readiness Standards for pre-algebra through pre-calculus: Basic Operations & Applications; Probability, Statistics & Data Analysis; Numbers: Concepts & Properties; Expressions, Equations & Inequalities; Graphical Representations; Properties of Plane Figures; Measurement; Functions.

The teams will design practice and assessment problems  that are aligned to the 126 College and Career Readiness Math Standards.  Districts agreeing to pilot the curriculum will receive access to the curriculum developed for the 2013-14 school year.

Teams will be selected based upon grade levels and location.  Participants must be available during all the required work days.

Selected teachers will receive $400 - payment made upon completion of project deliverables by June 2013.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
