Speech/Language Pathologist Shareshop

Welcome back to school, SLP's! I know we already have 2 months behind us but it's been such a busy start to the year that I am just now getting around to organizing our first SLP Program Support meeting, which has been scheduled for Friday, November 1st, from 12:30 to 3:30 in room #5 at the CESA 12 center in Ashland. It's a rather informal meeting to discuss various topics of interest of our choice and to set up future meeting dates/topics. So, mark down November 1st on your calendars and I look forward to seeing you then.

 

One thing that is happening, is CESA will be purchasing a DVD of the October 17th live Webinar on the topic of "iPad Innovations for Speech-Language Pathologists and Special Educators" that took place in Minneapolis (thanks for the heads-up on this Webinar, Cindy!). At a future meeting, we will be watching this DVD together, followed by a discussion & workshop. I'll see if I can make this a full day meeting, with other topics of interest.

Good luck to everyone this school year. I know you are all very busy and overwhelmed with all that needs to get done...hang in there and give yourself time to relax and converse with colleagues who are going through the same thing!
