This workshop is being funded by the EETT Grant/NExTT Project 2009-2010, however REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by April 23 to plan for food and handouts. No walk-ins will be accepted.
A professional development event for Administrators from iTASC/EETT Grant Districts funded by EETT 2009-2010
“Administrators in this grant will identify, use, and promote appropriate technologies to enhance and support instruction and standards-based-curriculum, leading to high levels of student achievement” (Goal 2 from EETT Grant/NExTT Project 2009-2010.)
In this hands-on workshop facilitated by Naomi Harm, Innovative Educator Consulting, learners will explore new trends related to both emerging technologies and 21st century skills as they apply to k-12 teaching and learning environments. In particular, it will focus on trends and skills sets from the administrator’s point of view.
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
• Identify 21st Century Skills and discuss their possible application in the classroom.
• Understand the National Educational Technology Standards for students, teachers and administrators.
• Articulate a vision related to teaching and learning in the 21st century while infusing technology tools to enhance and motivate school district staff and students.

Continental breakfast & lunch will be provided
Districts are encouraged to send a team of 2-3 leaders per district -- Administrative Leaders consist of Superintendents, Principals, Curriculum Directors and Technology Coordinators in the K-12 Environment.
