 Description:

Cluster Meetings occur twice a school year in the afternoon for Title 1 Quality Program Support Members. The North Cluster Meetings will occur at the CESA 6 Conference Center. The South Clusters meeting location will take place in Mayville again this year. Central districts may choose to attend the South or North Cluster meetings. The purpose of the Cluster meeting is to further focus on the professional development theme of the 2013-14 school year using the professional text, Apprenticeship in Literacy. Additionally, Cluster meetings will focus on problem solving around local Title 1 concerns, updates and successes. An agenda will be provided in advance of this half-day meeting.

*Check the Title 1 Quality Support Network Live Binder for updates.

Objectives:

• Work with the Monitoring Binder to assure understanding of Title 1 best practices.
• Dialogue about current Title 1 programming strengths and challenges.
• Develop a shared understanding of learning theories and strategic teaching behaviors that transform student achievement.
• Analyze the impact of scaffolding language on student achievement.
