Reading Competition Grade 3 X

As part of the G/T Consortium, these events are free of charge.
(Consortium schools – Argyle, Belmont, Benton,
Black Hawk, Boscobel, Cassville, Cuba City, Dodgeville, Fennimore, Highland, Iowa-Grant,
Ithaca, Kickapoo, Lancaster, Mineral Point, North Crawford, Pecatonica,
Platteville, Potosi, Richland, River Valley, Riverdale, Seneca, Shullsburg, Southwestern, Wauzeka and Weston)

 

Lunch will be provided.

 

(For two teams of four - one team of four per grade level)

Nonconsortium Schools will be charged $150 Per District

 

Each district within the G/T consortium has the opportunity to bring two groups of four students or up to eight students per district.
There are two activities that the students will participate in during this event.
Individual
Group
Individual-There will be an individual reading of a passage that will be followed by questions.
Group-Students will work together after reading a passage to answer questions.
These activities are being created to access the student's reading comprehension.

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
