We need to better define college readiness in light of the new standards, reduce remedial education to save students and colleges money, and provide more dual enrollment/credit options for high-achieving high school students. Teacher preparation programs need to produce graduates with knowledge and competencies to incorporate Common Core into their teaching. Be a part of the discussion to find meaningful solutions and share information on the impact of Common Core in higher education curriculum.

Don't miss Keynote speaker David Conley, CEO of the Educational Policy Improvement Center and author of Getting Ready for College, Careers and Common Core. Participants will receive his book as part of their registration.

Afternoon breakout sessions on topics including available resources, Higher Education & K-12 partnerships, what it means to be college-ready, and teacher performance assessment.

Please go to http://www.cesa2.org/programs/summit/ for more information and summit materials.
