Early Childhood Special Education Meeting

This is a busy time of year but I am hopeful we can get an early networking meeting in to discuss some of the really important information that you will need to make this a successful year.  We have a number of new educators, seasoned veterans and lots of work to be done!  One really important task is that I need help spending curriculum and assessment money, and I would like to have your input in doing so.  The discussions at the networking meeting will help me to figure out what you truly need from us, as we at CESA 8 work hard to support your efforts.

In speaking with several teachers in the CESA 8 region, I understand how valuable your time is.  Therefore, for the first meeting I would like to focus on indicator work.  Jayne had previously set up a speaker regarding Preschool Options, and I believe to have the statewide Environments Coordinator at this meeting would be helpful as we approach annual counts.  We will also visit new information regarding indicators 12 and 7.

One change that we are going to try is a staggered meeting.  Please know that ALL of you are welcome to stay for the entire meeting, but keeping in mind that you may be limited in time, I want to try to ensure that the meeting is meaningful to everyone. Therefore, meeting times will look like this:

10-11:30  New educators networking  (those in your first few years of teaching in ECSE)
11:30-1:00  Working lunch/Environments Coordinator Presentation/Combined networking
1-2:30   Veteran Educators networking

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing.
