The goal of this professional development is to ensure participants are prepared to implement the Department of Public Instruction's School/Student Learning Objective process. This process provides great benefit to schools and districts to improve student learning and foster collaboration between teachers and school administrators. SLOs require the use of data during the goal setting process to ensure rigorous, meaningful student growth.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Learn how SLOs drive the school improvement process and increase student achievement.
  2. Write and Evaluate SLOs.
  3. Understand roles: evaluator and evaluate.

 

Audience: Anyone who supervises educators.
