Canceled-Danielson Frameworks of Teaching, What does Good Teaching Look Like

Participants will gain an understanding of a teaching framework in order to analyze personal teaching practice. Participants will also develop a better understanding of how to use current strengths to advance future practice.

Participants will dive deeper into the facets of classroom environment and instruction detailed in the teaching frameworks in order to advance teaching practice.

Participants will confront the research on ineffective grading practices such as the using zeroes, averaging all scores, and using a single semester killer grade. Then participants will explore more effective practices such as equivalent grading scales, and accurate, specific and timely feedback.

Audience: Middle school and high school teachers/principals
Cost: $50.00 per participant for Curriculum Instruction and Assessment member school districts. $100.00 per participant for all other school districts.
