Workshop description:
What we learn with pleasure we never forget! Research shows that we will retain 30% more learning if we learn it laughing and having fun! Come join us for a day (or half day) to participate (yes, you will be involved) in active learning strategies that will get your students moving, laughing, and learning. Peg will lead participants through energizers like "Thumbs", "Mutants in Trouble","Emotional Symphony", and many more. She will provide examples of how these strategies can useful to connect to content learning.

Bio:

Peggy Eserkaln has spent the last fifteen years creating, developing, directing and improving programs that allow school age children and educators to create, develop, direct and improve their teaching craft. She is the founder of Educational Improvisation, Inc, Director of the West De Pere Summer Arts Institute and a school speech pathologist. She's worked with the Packer organization and Nike, but nothing tops the pride and reward she finds in working as a teacher with teachers... okay, so there is ONE thing that tops it; being 'mom' to her daughter Sydney.
