Interactive sessions designed for districts and schools to further develop their behavioral and academic multi-level system of support

Description:  Developing an enduring and integrated system of supports requires planning with a framework in mind. The Wisconsin RTI Center and WI PBIS Network Technical Assistance Coordinators will facilitate a series of interactive half-day sessions that support implementation of an integrated PBIS/RtI System. School and district leaders will receive technical assistance and opportunities to network with peers while planning for fidelity and sustainability.

Who Should Attend: 

  • Content Specific Sessions: PBIS internal & External Coaches, Principals, Math and Reading Specialists, and RtI Coordinators
  • Integrated Sessions: District Office Administrators, Principals, RtI Coordinators, PBIS and Content Area Coaches and Educator Leaders committed to implementing an integrated, multi- level system of supports that addresses behavior and academics.

Outcomes:

  • Connect stakeholders
  • Encourage collaborative learning from each other about a multi-level system of support
  • Investigate strategies to integrate RtI for academics and behavior (PBIS)
  • Continue to develop your school's implementation of a multi-level system of support
  • Gather resources and model processes to take back to your site
  • Discuss technical and adaptive changes

PBIS Coach Networking

Description A series of interactive half-day sessions which are vital to the implementation of PBIS in schools. Coaches will have opportunities to network with other coaches and return to their schools with renewed energy.

Outcomes:
Sessions are designed in response to state and local data collected through PBIS Assessment results and local needs assessments with focus on the critical elements of PBIS and coaching skills such as:

  • Data-based decision-making, problem-solving, action-planning, effective team meetings, stakeholder support, funding, policy-making, leadership skills, systems, student outcomes, and facilitation skills.

Who Should Attend:  PBIS internal & External Coaches, Principals

RtI Peer Networking

Description:   A series of participatory half-day networking sessions to support school / district implementation of Wisconsin's RtI framework for reading and Mathematics

Outcomes:   Sessions provide a forum for collaborative exchange of strategies and resources around RtI implementation topics of interest.

Who Should Attend:  School and district general and Special Education personnel leading implementation of RtI systems for Reading and/or Mathematics (e.g. Principals, RtI Coordinators, Curriculum Coordinators, Special Education Directors, School Psychologists, teacher leaders, Reading and Mathematics specialists)

What to Bring:  Attendees will be emailed one week prior to session
