Social Studies with DPI's Kristen McDaniel X

Just for 6-12 teachers, these networking meetings are designed for in-depth examinations around how to best teach social studies. Topics include: use of primary sources, disciplinary literacy, resources, course design, and possible new standards. Facilitated by Kristen McDaniel, DPI Social Studies consultant.

*Credit is available for teachers who attend all four social studies events, including Doug Buehl's "Disciplinary Literacy in Social Studies" sessions scheduled for Nov 15 and Jan 7. Register for each event separately.

 

Credits offered through UW-Oshkosh/$220 per credit.

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
