RESCHEDULED-REGISTER UNDER CESA 6 MATH CENTER-9.29.2010 - Math Center ~ Year 1

Teachers participating will be out of the classroom for a total of seven days throughout the year.
Professional Development Schedule:
-October 6, 2010 Math Center Kick Off—curriculum and assessment focus; - November 3, 2010, December 15, 2010, January 25, February 15, March 15, April 19, 2011: building math content and instructional strategies and scheduled observations for observing high quality math instruction.

This professional development is designed to be an ongoing process to improve mathematics instruction at the classroom level by:

• building content expertise for instruction,
• observing, critiquing and reflecting on high quality classroom mathematics instruction modeled by Dr. Tim McNamara,
• accessing on-line teacher resources for technology integration, curriculum, assessment, instruction and feedback,
• reviewing gold-standard mathematics curriculum K-12 and revising existing district curricula as appropriate,
• participating in facilitated networking time for teachers

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
