Tier 1 Administrative Overview - AS50 1/2 Day

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive and preventive multi-tiered system of support for behavior content. Through the development and implementation of a PBIS framework, schools are able to create and maintain safe and effective learning enviornments, and ensure that all students have the social/emotional/behavioral skillls needed to succeed in school and beyond. This half day overview session is for districts leadership teams interested in the why, what and how of implementing a PBIS framework. This overview will examine the rationale and framework as well as how data, systems and practice components work together to increase social competencies and academic achievement, and participants will leave with an understanding of the step-by-step implementation process for all three tiers of support, and the steps necessary for getting started, including district commitments needed for sucessful implementation.

Target Audience: District Leadership teams of 3-5 members including district adminstrators, building admininstrators, student services personnel, teacher leaders, and potential site-coaches

Cost: $30.00 per person - Includes materials
