This event is free to members of Project #220 (SIS) or #250 (Educator Effectiveness): Alma, Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan, Arcadia, Bangor, Black River Falls, Blair Taylor, Cashton, Cochrane-Fountain City, De Soto, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, Holmen, La Crosse, Melrose-Mindoro, Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton, Onalaska, Sparta, Tomah, Viroqua, Westby, West Salem, Whitehall, and Wonewoc-Union Center. All others may attend at a cost of $75 per individual.
Brad Carl from the Wisconsin Center for Educational Research will be introducing the design and use of Value Added Measures (VAM) for assessing student growth in our State Accountability Measures. Beginning in the 2014-2015 school year, VAM will be used as part of the Educator Effectiveness System to measure student growth. This afternoon is intended to provide Principals and other School or District Administrators with a foundational understanding about how this “new to Wisconsin” accountability measure will figure into the near, and more distant future.

Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
