Adolescent Literacy Network: Research Reading & Writing Book Study

Learn how Christopher Lehman engages the researcher by providing a foundation for his thinking with research, theory and evidence, and then demonstrating strategies and practical tips to make them work in your classroom (The book Energize Research Reading & Writing by Christopher Lehman will be provided).

The purpose of this network is to provide professional learning and networking opportunities for both English language arts teachers as well as content area teachers in grades 6-12 in order to meet the demands of the Common Core State Standards for ELA and Disciplinary Literacy.

Cost:
Student Achievement Consortium Members: $25
All Others: $50

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
