Gifted and Talented Network

A great diversity exists among learners. The educational community has a responsibility to identify and develop the talents of children who are gifted and talented in the areas of general intellectual ability, specific academic ability, creativity, artistic ability and leadership. Many schools are struggling to meet these needs. This network offers professional and collegial support for those providing direction for the education education of gifted and talented students.

Network Objectives:
- What process does your district/school use to identify gifted/talented students?
- How can we learn from each other to provide rich opportunities for our gifted and talented learners?
- What types of programs or opportunities does your district/school offer for gifted students that are systematic and continuous? How do they connect to core         curriculum?
- What help do you need or can you offer to improve opportunities for gifted students?
- What resources are available?

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
