Day 1- S100 Moving from Tier 1/Universal to Tier 2 Interventions-A Seamless system of Support- will begin with a review of the universal components of external and self-assessment team tools supporting school wide positive behavior supports (SWPBS).  The use of the School-wide Evaluation Tool (SET), Team Implementation Checklist (TIC) and the Benchmarks of Quality (BoQ) will be used to monitor the effects of the system of student and staff behavior, as well as the overall system of PBIS in the school.  The importance of the process to the fidelity of specific interventions and the system will also be assessed by each team.  The action plan developed at Tier I team planning meetings will be reviewed and updated in order to begin Tier 2 planning.

Day 2- S200: Formalizing the Tier 2 System:  Intervening Early through the behavior Education Plan-  will introduce the 10 Critical Features for Tier 2 Interventions.  Two new tools, the Individual Student Systems Evaluation Tool (ISSET) and the Checklsit for Individual Student Systems (CISS) will be introduced to the Secondary Systems Planning Team.  The team will focus on building the foundations of Tier 2 with the development of team practices, school systems, and more targeted data.  The use of functinoal behavior assessments (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP) as part of Tier 2 interventions will be included in team planning.  The Secondary Systems Planning Team will then build an action plan around Tier 2 students' needs, utilizing best practices and the additional tools available to them.
