Overview
Early literacy skills are an important aspect to helping a child be successful in many content areas. Based on learning standards and current research, we will explore and network around “What are the cirtical content areas of an early literacy program?” “How can we support literacy in a developmentally appropriate way for young children?”. We will be maping out literacy practices, as well as strategies to support struggeling learners in a developmentally approapriate way.
There is no fee for this workshop which is co-sponsored by CESA #12 and the Early Childhood Curriculum and Assessment Network (ECCAN) by the Department of Public Instruction and the Early Childhood Grant 14-75-9912-PIDEA60 CFDA# 84.173

Mileage will be reimbursed for the Districts in the CESA #12 Early Childhood Grant (Includes: Ashland, Bayfield, Butternut, Drummond, Hayward, Hurley, Maple, Mellen, Mercer, Phillips and Washburn)
Cancellation Policy:
