This workshop will focus on using the Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS) fall and spring data to drive instruction. Participants are asked to bring the PALS data and samples of instructional plans based on the results. Teachers will engage in collegial conversations focused on improving student learning, reflect on their current practice, and share their success and challenges implementing best literacy practices in their classroom. (We will separate by grade levels.)

We will join together for a networking session with all that attend.  We will discuss how we can collaborate, share useful data for planning purposes and how we can incorporate this literacy screening tool in our programs. We will also discuss how to implement developmentally appropriate literacy strategies into the curriculums.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
