LLI Professional Development Series: Benchmark Assessment Training

Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Assessment System helps assess students at the entry and exit points for the LLI system. Both systems are based on the F&P Text Level Gradient™. A–Z, which is correlated to grade level. This training is essential to anyone not familiar with F&P’s Reading Record as it is a part of the LLI lesson framework. This training is also for anyone starting out with the BAS kit for the first time. We will learn how to use this tool to benchmark and progress monitor students. The training will include how to administer, score and analyze the reading record to make instructional plans to increase student achievement.

*Kit is not required for anyone with an LLI kit as it is built into the system, but it is recommended.

CESA 5 Members: $100
All Others: $150

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
