Canceled-Dinosaurs and Digital

Learn to use a number of easy, free websites to bring some lessons out of the Stone Age and into the Digital Age. Many educators feel overwhelmed by the vast amount of new technology available in the classroom, while current students are considered "digital natives" and grasp technology with ease. This workshop will introduce you to wikis, Prezi, Edmodo, QR codes and other free tools. The workshop will also give you some ideas on using iPads or other tablets in the classroom. Bring curriculum materials and leave the workshop with a new lesson or two ready for the next day!

$75.00 per person for districts that are members of the CESA 8 Curriculum Instructions and Assessment; Student Needs Professional Development, and TRITON Enhanced Services Departments.

$125.00 per person for all other school districts.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs.
