This course will introduce participants to the potential of videoconferencing and is intended for teachers of high school credit classes via the CADENC, CWETN, Project CIRCUIT, and WIN distance learning networks.

Participants will learn:

  • how to operate the videoconferencing equipment, both portable (Polycom) and fixed
  • how to design lessons for interactive television
  • how to incorporate graphics and other resources into instruction
  • how to manage a classroom with students at remote sites
  • how to use the desktop Polycom client (CMA) and central recording system (RSS)
  • how to create mini-­recorded lessons using Camtasia/Ensemble software

No cost to school districts that subscribe to CESA 10 Distance Learning Services.

There will be an option to earn 1 graduate credit from Viterbo University for $110 at the participant's expense.

Lunch will be provided.
