Please note:  This is 2-day workshop.

This course will introduce participants to the potential of portable videoconferencing equipment (Polycom). The content is appropriate for K-12 educators, distance learning facilitators, and any other staff members in the CADENC, CWETN, Project CIRCUIT, and WIN school districts who would like to make better use of their Polycom videoconference equipment.

Participants will:

  • have hands-on practice with Polycom operation
  • learn to use the Polycom for "formal' and "informal" instruction and meetings
  • learn about video field trips for use in the classroom
  • develop two lesson plans
  • learn how to use the desktop Polycom client (CMA)

In addition, four video field trips will be scheduled, giving participants a first-hand experience.

No cost to school districts that subscribe to CESA 10 Distance Learning Services.

There will be an option to earn 1 graduate credit from Viterbo University for $110, payable on the first day of class at the participant's expense.

Lunch will be provided.
