SIMS Rollout CESA #3

The User Training will require one four (4) person team from participating districts to include an administrator, and 3 teachers (might want to include school psychologist). CESA #3 staff will conduct this “hands-on” (one day) training. The cost is $1500 for the 4-person team. Participants will be expected to implement the tool in a small “pilot” context, and participate in a Users Networking Group meetings scheduled for April 19 and May 21, 2010. This district team would also help train future users in their own district as the district expands the implementation of SIMS locally.

Support Training for Local System Administrators: February 10, 2010, 1:00 to 3:00
The individual(s) within a district who is identified as the local system administrator should participate. This person should have knowledge of the district’s student information and network systems.

Support Training for Content Builders: March 24 (Conference Room A, 9:00 - 3:00), April 30 (Conference Room C/D, 9:00 - 3:00)
A member of the team who is familiar with the district’s RtI model and district’s approach to curriculum and instruction. This person will have responsibility for managing the input of additional interventions. Participant must attend both sessions.
 

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
