CESA #3 Keys to Successful Responsive to Instruction Series
CESA #3 and the Southwest REACh Regional Center are pleased to announce a three day series
of workshops to assist your district in building and refining your capacity to become a responsive
school.
Each workshop session will focus on the following outcomes for participants:
1. Conduct and interpret a self assessment on the session topic
2. Analyze and apply the essential components of the session topic
3. Examine and discuss the best practices and procedures of the session topic
4. Develop and record an action plan applying the new information from the session topic.
It is suggested that a school based leadership team should be brought to all three events. The
leadership team should consist of the building administrator, special education teacher, reading or
math specialist, general education teachers, curriculum and assessment coordinator, and any other
staff you feel would be integral to implementing this change. There is no cost for these
workshops and lunch and refreshment are included. Registration is required. To register, please
see the registration information at the close of this flyer.
There are three Common Elements for successful RtI implementation identified at both the
National and State Level. Each workshop is planned to address the content and application of
these elements.
